The Insect House

In 1905, Cologne Zoo opened the first insectarium at a German zoo. Almost simultaneously, in 1906, the historic Pond Pavilion at the Wintermühlenhof was built. A perfect opportunity to revive the spirit of that era: CLEO, JUMPER, AMY and the hovering BUGZEE transform the Pond Pavilion into our very own insect house.
