Igel Objekt aus Glas

Few Spikes, Big Impact

A real hedgehog carries hundreds of spikes – SPIKY relaxes with just four. They are oversized and confidently staged, giving the little hedgehog an energetic, almost slightly rebellious note. He is not a zoological model – he is an idea. A hedgehog reduced to the essentials, yet almost impossible to surpass in cuteness.

Sculpture in Mini Format

SPIKY measures just 15 cm in height, 8 cm in width, and 19 cm in depth – and is anything but inconspicuous. Despite his compact size, he has a clear presence. On a sideboard, on a shelf, on a desk, or as a splash of color between books and plants, he places a stylish accent in any space.

For Details with Personality

SPIKY appeals to those who appreciate distinctive objects. To those who value small accents just as much as bold statements.

He makes a thoughtful gift or a deliberately placed pop of color in your own home. An object that proves: even in a small format, design can radiate energy.

Manual Work

A Fusion of Tradition, Craftsmanship and Innovation

Exclusive glass art from the Borowski glass factory

Each object shown here reflects the craftsmanship of our glassmakers. What appears lighthearted, playful, and full of color is in fact created through a demanding and often physically challenging production process. Today, only a small number of people and glass studios worldwide still master the traditional art of glassmaking.

At the Borowski Glass Studio, nearly all known techniques of hot and cold glassworking can be applied. This exceptional range of possibilities allows our artists to continuously develop new ideas and bring even highly ambitious, experimental visions to life in glass.

The brothers Stani-Jan, Wiktor, and Pawel Borowski learned to work with the blowpipe and molten glass from the ground up. While Wiktor primarily oversees sales, Pawel and Stani-Jan still work daily at the furnace in the glass studio themselves.

As each object is mouth-blown and traditionally handcrafted, slight variations in color, shape, and size are unavoidable. Small air inclusions in the glass are characteristic features of genuine handcrafted studio glass and should not be regarded as flaws, but rather as signs of its individual production process.

Studio Line

STUDIO LINE

More than a work of art ...

The objects in the STUDIO LINE collection transport the unmistakable artistic features and qualities of Borowski production into daily life. But they do not want to be satisfied with pure art at all: They are also candlesticks, fruit bowls, vases or paperweights.

They represent the vibrant, open art concept that is so typical for the work of the Borowski brothers. It goes without saying that each object from the STUDIO LINE is an individual piece and has been handmade with a great deal of love and attention to detail.
