Bee Lamp Trio: Bee table lamps to fall in love with

Spoiled for choice: That’s exactly what happens with these bee table lamps. After all, who wants to choose between the cute honey bee BUSY BEE, the bee man BRONKO BEE with his charming moustache and the beautiful queen bee BELLA BEE? Each lamp is made by our artists and experienced glassmakers and brings craftsmanship and aesthetic beauty to your home. Thanks to the warm color gradations of yellow, amber, orange and brown tones, they harmoniously illuminate the room, and each one has its own, very special character.

Character roles in the beehive

BELLA BEE

The regent around whom everything revolves.

  • A crown instead of antennae
  • yellow complexion
  • purple trunk

BUSY BEE

She is the busiest in the colony and a favourite with all honey lovers.

  • amber complexion
  • orange trunk

BRONCO BEE

The “macker” in the hive and a wise, experienced protector of the bee kingdom.

  • Moustache
  • orange complexion
  • purple trunk

The bee table lamp modelled on nature

It is actually anatomically correct, except for the fact that our table lamp bee stands upright. Wings, eyes and proboscis are included, only the legs are missing. The small wings made of shiny transparent glass on the back of the glass body are anatomically too small, but shimmer beautifully in the light.

Warm variety of colours

To make your decision a little easier, here is a comparison of the colours used for the bee table lamp. Please note that no two objects are the same due to the handmade nature of the work and colour variations may occur.

“We see bees in a certain period of the year, in spring and summer.
In spring, not all the colours of nature appear in their full splendour. Light green leaves only become rich green leaves over time, everything matures gradually.
For the table lamps, I made sure that they carry this information in the colours.
When the lamp is switched off, the colours look like spring, some tones are softer or brighter. When you switch them on, the colours change: richer and more mature, like in summer.”

Exclusive Glass Art from Borowski Glassworks: Tradition, Craftsmanship, and Innovation Combined

Each object shown here embodies the craftsmanship of our glassmakers. Behind each of the objects that appear so light, cheerful and colorful is a complex, often sweaty manufacturing process. Today only a few people or manufactories master the old, demanding craft of the glassmaker.

In the Borowski Glass Studio you can work with almost all known techniques of cold and hot glass processing - this enables the artists to realize challenging visions and constant new, experimental ideas.

The three brothers Stani-Jan, Wiktor and Pawel Borowski learned how to use the glass pipe and the glowing material from scratch. While Wiktor mainly takes care of sales, Pawel and Stani-Jan work in the factory on site every day at the glass furnace.

Mouth-blown and traditionally handcrafted glass objects may have minor color and shape deviations that are unavoidable for manufacturing reasons. Air inclusions in the glass are a sign of the handmade product and should not be regarded as a defect. There may be deviations of a few centimeters in the size specifications.

STUDIO LINE

STUDIO LINE

MORE THAN A WORK OF ART …

The objects in the STUDIO LINE collection transport the unmistakable artistic features and qualities of Borowski production into daily life. At first glance they simply decorate their owners‘ shelves, coffee and dining tables as imaginative, amusing and elegant art works. But they are not content to remain just art objects: plump, friendly birds, or some other kind of sociable fantasy creature. Oh no! They also happen to be candleholders, fruit bowls, vases or table lamps. They represent the vibrant, open art concept that is so typical for the work of the Borowski brothers. It goes without saying that each object from the STUDIO LINE is an individual piece and has been handmade with a great deal of love and attention to detail.
