A show garden with Borowski objects wins gold at the Chelsea Flower Show 2019
The Montessori anniversary garden for children won a GOLD medal at the Chelsea Flower Show from May 21st to 25th, 2019 in London. Beautiful glass from Borowski adorns the garden. These include gargoyles by Stani Jan Borowski, artistic glass water reeds and glass objects from the animal world. Some objects were specially designed by Borowski for the garden exhibition and brought to England.
According to the Montessori teaching method, the garden is run by children. It is future-oriented, offers a big space to look after children and teach them about “Natural world next to technology: the future of horticulture”. There are two greenhouses in the garden: one inspired by the Walipini designs – a sunken Victorian greenhouse – and one with hydroponic systems laid out between living and edible walls and an interactive natural pond area.
