Description

Stylish candle holder, multifunctional bowl, and sculptural eye-catcher.

The IBIS is designed as a completely novel candle holder for pillar candles, but it also offers many other uses. When equipped with a tealight or string lights, it shines in vibrant colors like a lantern. Of course, you can also use the IBIS as a planter, decorate it with fruits, or use it to store important items. Without its practical everyday use, the IBIS is above all an artistic and aesthetically appealing glass sculpture. The elegant, slender metal legs with golden powder coating shimmer softly and hold the large round glass body with the candle stably and securely aloft. The symmetry of the head and tail gives the IBIS a simple elegance and makes it an eye-catcher at the same time! The body of the peach-coloured ibis is decorated with a dark grey stripe. The ibis in light mint green is surrounded by a beige line and the ibis in soft rosé-grey has a violet stripe. Enjoy the shades that glow wonderfully by flickering candlelight!

Exclusive Glass Art from Borowski Glassworks: Tradition, Craftsmanship, and Innovation Combined

Each object shown here embodies the craftsmanship of our glassmakers. Behind each of the objects that appear so light, cheerful and colorful is a complex, often sweaty manufacturing process. Today only a few people or manufactories master the old, demanding craft of the glassmaker.

In the Borowski Glass Studio you can work with almost all known techniques of cold and hot glass processing - this enables the artists to realize challenging visions and constant new, experimental ideas.

The three brothers Stani-Jan, Wiktor and Pawel Borowski learned how to use the glass pipe and the glowing material from scratch. While Wiktor mainly takes care of sales, Pawel and Stani-Jan work in the factory on site every day at the glass furnace.

Mouth-blown and traditionally handcrafted glass objects may have minor color and shape deviations that are unavoidable for manufacturing reasons. Air inclusions in the glass are a sign of the handmade product and should not be regarded as a defect. There may be deviations of a few centimeters in the size specifications.

STUDIO LINE

STUDIO LINE

MORE THAN A WORK OF ART …

The objects in the STUDIO LINE collection transport the unmistakable artistic features and qualities of Borowski production into daily life. At first glance they simply decorate their owners‘ shelves, coffee and dining tables as imaginative, amusing and elegant art works. But they are not content to remain just art objects: plump, friendly birds, or some other kind of sociable fantasy creature. Oh no! They also happen to be candleholders, fruit bowls, vases or table lamps. They represent the vibrant, open art concept that is so typical for the work of the Borowski brothers. It goes without saying that each object from the STUDIO LINE is an individual piece and has been handmade with a great deal of love and attention to detail.
