Outdoor Light Object Anteater
The Giant Anteater as an outdoor light object is certainly the most unusual garden art in your area.
A mysterious creature becomes garden art
Extraordinary, quirky animals have always been a source of inspiration for us. Now that our ants already populate numerous gardens, the anteater could not be missing.
It feeds almost exclusively on ants and termites. For this, it has a 60 cm long, sticky tongue. It is nocturnal. Its brain is just the size of a walnut. For defense, it has 3 long, sickle-like claws on its front legs. The long nose, the curved body posture, the brush-like fur, and the bushy tail give it a distinctive appearance. Due to its nocturnal nature and solitary lifestyle, the anteater has remained a mystery to many people. However, its calm demeanor and mysterious aura have made it a symbol of wilderness and untouched habitat.
Inspired by the aesthetics of this wondrous creature, our anteater FLETCHER uniquely combines craftsmanship with functionality. The body of this extraordinary light object is made of luminous glass, gently illuminating the surrounding terrain and creating a mysterious atmosphere. The artistically crafted metal parts form both the limbs and the long, shaggy fur.
THE ECCENTRIC AESTHETICS OF AN ANTEATER
The characteristic features of an anteater are intricately crafted. There are the lighter front legs on one hand, and the darker coloration of the hind legs and tail on the other. Special attention also deserves the black, sickle-shaped stripe that begins at the neck and runs down the back. Accordingly, our anteater is made of three differently colored metal elements: the hind legs and tail are brown. The front legs are tinted in a lighter gray-beige, and the “collar” is black. The shaggy appearance of the fur is also forged into the metal. The tiny ears and small, round eyes, in contrast to its primitive body structure, give it a special charm.
